Presenting: the perfect gift for children!

Book Release Announcement:

You Have Been Invited!
is now available at Amazon.com and many other fine bookstores.

By Brian Howell and illustrated by Judy Collins Powell

Many years ago I accepted God’s invitation to become His child through faith in Christ, so it was a great pleasure to be asked to illustrate a book of God’s invitations to all men, women and children.

Take a Journey through the Christian faith with a stop at nineteen Scripture-based invitations that are available to all whom accept them.

Working with Brian to arrive at the look he wanted for the book's illustrations was a creative process. Drawing on prayer and our own experiences in growing spiritually, we enjoyed a fun and collaborative unity.

The illustrations especially appeal to children, but the invitations referenced in You Have Been Invited! are extended to all people of any age.

It is never too late to take God at His word and find new life - everlasting life through Jesus, the Creator, and Redeemer!

You Have Been Invited! is available for sale at:

You Have Been Invited!  would make a perfect gift for all occassions, for any child.

Paris Café

This recent work of trompe l'oeil was completed on the flat wall of a residential kitchen area. Notice three instances of the existing kitchen features incorporated into the artwork: a bird appearing to light atop the upper cupboards, the actual tile back splash seemingly extended above, below, and down the alley, and the electrical outlet that is almost completely hidden.

Kansas City resident boasts multiple murals

This eye catching mural at the top of a staircase provides a
lovely finishing touch, drawing the eye upwards and into the next space.

This ivy latticed archway also provides a charming link between
the living room and kitchen in this Kansas City home.

Trompe l'oeil glass cupboards: an affordable alternative to the real thing,
do not need a beautiful set of matching dishes behind them, and require no dusting!

An original morning glory border transforms this bathroom from
basic and plain to interesting and distinctive.

Decorative floral butterfly arch around coat hook nook:
a touch of whimsy and beauty in an otherwise dull and unnoticed location.
